 Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Full-Time W-2

Cypress / Katy, TX | Pediatric Speech Therapy

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Babel Therapy PLLC is a therapist-owned speech therapy practice serving children and adults throughout the Cypress and greater Houston area. We are currently seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our growing pediatric team.

We have an established caseload available for an immediate start and are looking for a dependable, organized clinician who enjoys working with children and families across clinic and community-based settings.

• Full-Time W-2 employment
• Established caseload with immediate hours available
• Consistent scheduling and strong visit density
• Support and supervision from an experienced CCC-SLP
• Services provided in our Cypress office as well as local daycares and ABA centers
• No private-home visits
• Travel primarily within the Cypress and Katy areas

• Starting pay from $35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Full-time clinicians generally complete approximately 28–35 therapy visits per week once their caseload is established.

Typical operating hours are approximately 8:30 AM–6:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Individual schedules are developed based on patient availability, location, and caseload needs. Applicants should have availability that supports a consistent pediatric schedule, particularly during high-demand afternoon hours.

• Provide speech and language therapy under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Implement established plans of care and treatment goals
• Prepare and adapt therapy activities based on patient needs
• Maintain accurate and timely session documentation
• Communicate appropriately with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other members of the patient's care team
• Participate in supervision and clinical collaboration with the supervising SLP
• Maintain a dependable schedule and communicate promptly regarding cancellations or scheduling concerns
• Travel between assigned treatment locations as scheduled

Required:

• Bachelor's degree
• Current Texas SLPA license through TDLR, or eligibility to obtain Texas licensure
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to complete documentation accurately and within required timelines
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the Cypress/Katy area
• Strong communication and professionalism

Preferred:

• At least 1 year of speech therapy experience
• Pediatric therapy experience
• Experience treating children with autism, developmental disabilities, language disorders, articulation disorders, or AAC needs
• Bilingual Spanish/English skills

• Established and growing referral base
• Immediate caseload availability

• Variety of treatment settings without private-home visits
